Pest Shield Inc., based in Mt. Airy, Maryland, is a leading pest control company with over 60 years of combined experience in the industry. Serving both residential and commercial clients in Maryland and Northern Virginia, Pest Shield Inc. is dedicated to providing top-notch pest management services. The company is known for its comprehensive pest protection plans that not only eliminate current infestations but also prevent future problems.

The Objective

The objective of an SEO campaign for Pest Shield Inc. is to focus on maximizing lead generation by driving more targeted traffic to their website, ultimately increasing the number of phone calls and online quote submissions. The campaign aims to enhance the visibility of Pest Shield in search engine results for keywords related to pest control services in their target regions of Maryland and Northern Virginia.

The Timeline

Work officially began on March, 2024. As with all of our SEO campaigns, the first work of business was building Pest Shield Inc. a brand new, completely optimized website. The new website launched in April, 2024, and we began our SEO campaign in earnest from there. This case study reflects the very early results this pest control company is getting in just the first four months of their entire SEO campaign.

Google Search Console

The Google Search Console is a great place to view a high-level graph of the effects of an SEO campaign. This chart primarily shows two things: clicks and impressions. Impressions represent your website being listed for a particular search term, while clicks represent a user clicking on your listing. As you can see, clicks show way up in April, 2024, which is when the new website was made live. Since then, both impressions and clicks have steadily grown, hitting new all-time-highs month over month. The trend line is up, exactly where is should be with a positive SEO campaign.
